Lunamoon Cat Eye Base 01 – 13 ml

Cat Eye base is a cat eye effect base that contains fine metallic particles reacting to a magnet, creating a magical glow in the uncured layer. The base has a medium consistency, self-levels well, and does not require a dark underlay thanks to its high color density.

• Provides excellent coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Elastic and flexible, ensures wearability without lifting for 3–4 weeks.

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Slightly acidic (pH 5–6), hypoallergenic, with a neutral scent.

• Can be warmed to make it thinner if needed.

• May show minimal shrinkage during wear due to elasticity.

• Requires a Rubber Base LUNAmoon underlay.

• Thixotropic formula – becomes thinner when the brush is in motion.

• Doesn’t spread and self-levels quickly.

• Curing time: 120 seconds in an original 36–48 W lamp.

• Easily removable with file or remover.

• Main rule for leveling: the free edge thickness must be 0.5 mm.

Application:

1. Removal. Do not file the shape or leave 2 mm of length for further correction.

2. Gently file the nail plate with a 220 grit file or 100 grit buffer to lift flakes.

3. Manicure. Wash hands with soap after using removers.

4. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon:

   • First pass – wipe the nail with one wipe per five fingers.

   • Second pass – wrap an orangewood stick in a wipe and clean the cuticle and folds.

5. Primer is optional.

6. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon using a flat gel brush with rubbing strokes. Cure for 60 seconds.

7. Remove the sticky layer.

8. Apply Cat Eye base for leveling. Cure for 90 seconds.

9. Dust off the forms to form the end thickness that will support the free edge.

10. If the nail is thin, it may curl – file 1 mm from the center of the natural nail.

11. Remove the sticky layer, apply color or camouflage base in a thin layer.

12. Finish with top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain shine.
