Chemides Pulver is hygroscopic pulver, which dissolves completely in water. Durning the dissolution the active oxygene releases from powder and together with activator these are forming peracetic acid, which makes product has a very strong disinfective properties. The powder is evironmetally safe as it decomposes into water and oxygen. Enzymes inside the powder help increase product’s cleaning properties and quicken removing from instruments blood, protein and fats, reducing these to water-soluble polypeptides or amino acids.

Chemides Pulver has sporicidal, virucidal (incl. hepatitis B and C, HIV), bacterical (incl. Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, acid-proof bacilli, Tbc), fungicidal effect.

Activated Chemides Pulver’s solution is clear and transparent, which allows to observe the instuments during their handling. For activation leave the solution stand for 10-30 minutes.

Chemides Pulver is suitable for all major medical devices which are used in hospitals and health care institutions. Product is not suitable for using on copper, tin, bronze, brass and aluminium surfaces.

Ready for use solution is maintained in closed container entire working day. According to solution’s contamination change solution before new working cycle or at least once a day.

Usage

Chemides Pulver working solution prepared by dissolving powder in water. For one liter working solution add 5g powder (1/3 dosing spoon in one liter water) up to 15g powder (1 dosing spoon in one liter water) depends the level of disinfection.

Cleaning and disinfection of instruments, devices and surfaces:

1. Add 5g Chemides Pulver for every lukewarm (30-35 C) water litre

2. Mix the solution until majority of the powder is solved (2-3 minutes)

3. Leave the solution stand for 10 minutes to achieve the effectivity of powder

4. Solution time of effect is 10-15 minutes

5. After time of effect rinse the instruments if needed with running or sterile water

6. Change working solution according contamination or at least once a day

High level disinfection or chemical sterilization of instruments:

1. Cleanse instruments or devices

2. Add 15 gramms Chemides Pulver for every lukewarm (30-35 C) water litre

3. Mix the solution until majority of the powder is solved (2-3 minutes)

4. Leave the solution stand for 30 minutes to achieve the effectivity of powder

5. Add previously cleaned instruments into solution for 10-15 minutes

6. Rinse the instruments with sterile water

7. Change working solution according contamination or at least once a day

Avoid soiling of decontaminated instruments after take out from solution.

Follow manufactur’s instruction when using disinfectant.

Generally use 0,5% working solution in clean environment, where is not blood contimination. In the hospital is recommended to use 1,5% solution.

100g Chemides Pulver contains: Sodium Percarbonate 32g; Tetra Acetyle Ethylene Diamine (activator) 25g; Enzymes, Organic acid , stabilizer, nonionic tensides (biodegratability >90%), corrosion inhibitor etc.
