Lunamoon Opal Base Nr 3 - 13ml

Opal Base is a camouflage base for covering and smoothing nails, offering high pigmentation and excellent self-leveling properties.

• Mildly acidic with pH 5–6, suitable for most nail types.
• Hypoallergenic, with a neutral smell.
• Elastic and flexible, ensures good coverage of the natural nail due to its high pigmentation.
• May experience minimal shrinkage during wear due to its elasticity.
• Medium consistency, does not flow, self-levels quickly.
• Provides 3–4 weeks of wear without flaking.
• Removes well both by filing and using remover liquid.
• Requires a base layer of Rubber Base LUNAmoon.
• Not suitable for aligning long nails without prior reinforcement.
• Curing time: 120 seconds in an original 36–48 W lamp.
• Thixotropic – becomes thinner when brushed.
• Alignment rule: the thickness at the free edge should be 0.5 mm.

Application method:

1. Remove the old product. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of free edge to file off after alignment.

2. Use a 220 grit file to gently buff the nail surface, lifting the scales, or a 100 grit buffer.

3. Perform manicure. If removers are used, wash hands with soap afterward.

4. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon using 4 wipes: 1 per 5 fingers. First pass – wipe the nail surface. Second pass – wrap a wipe around an orangewood stick and clean around the cuticle and folds.

5. Primer is optional. If Rubber Base is sufficiently acidic, primer is not needed.

6. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon with rubbing motions using a flat gel brush. Cover all recesses. Cure 60 seconds.

7. Remove tacky layer.

8. Apply Opal Base LUNAmoon, cure for 90 seconds.

9. File the shape to create thickness at the free edge.

10. Remove the tacky layer after filing.

11. Apply gel polish if desired.

12. Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe the top to maintain the shine.
