Builder gel – Lunamoon Premium Gel Nr 12 – 30 ml

Classic Gel Premium is a light-curing polymer created for reliable strengthening and extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that activate the polymerization process under ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength. The acid-free formula makes the gel safe for natural nails, and its high durability allows for working with length and shape without risk of cracking.

The consistency is medium – the material is neither too thin nor too thick, comfortable to work with, does not run into the cuticles, and self-levels well. The medium pigmentation covers the free edge. The gel is thixotropic – it becomes thinner during brush movement, thickens in cold conditions, and can be gently warmed if needed. It does not cause burning in the lamp, does not shrink, and holds the arch perfectly. It cures fully up to a thickness of 1 mm; with thinner layers, slight flexibility is possible, which does not affect durability. It must be used over a Rubber Base by LUNAmoon.

Application technique for strengthening:

1. Remove old coating. The nail shape is not filed or 2 mm of free edge is left.

2. Gently buff the surface using a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.

3. Perform manicure. If removers were used, wash hands with soap.

4. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon in two steps: first with a wipe (1 wipe for 5 fingers), then wrap an orangewood stick with a wipe and clean the cuticle area and side folds.

5. Optionally apply Ultrabond LUNAmoon using a semi-dry brush, including the free edge and lateral sides. Wait 1 minute.

6. Apply Rubber Base with a rubbing motion using a flat brush, making sure to cover all recesses. Cure for 60 seconds.

7. Remove the tacky layer. Level the surface, keeping a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

8. File the form and create thickness at the free edge. Remove dust.

9. Apply color if desired, then apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain shine.

Application technique for classic extension:

1. Remove the previous product, trim the nail to 1 mm, and round the shape.

2. Buff the surface with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.

3. Perform manicure. Wash hands after remover.

4. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon using the two-step method described above.

5. Apply Primer LUNAmoon.

6. Apply Rubber Base using a rubbing motion and cure for 60 seconds. Remove the tacky layer.

7. Apply the form and build the free edge with gel. Cure for 30 seconds.

8. File and shape the edge. Remove dust and tackiness.

9. Reapply Rubber Base to filed areas. Cure for 30 seconds.

10. Smooth with gel. Place in lamp and press on the nail for 10–15 seconds (20 seconds if the gel is thick or contains glitter). Cure for 120 seconds.

11. Remove the tacky layer. Apply color and top coat if needed. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve shine.
